Services Available at Rubicon


Rubicon offers confidential counselling to adults; giving support to individuals, couples or small groups. A local service is available to people living in the Boroughs of Harrow and Hillingdon and the consulting-rooms are very accessible to the rest of London by public transport.

Counselling is available to help you deal with all kinds of emotional problems and significant life-changes including:


Bereavement (Including loss by Suicide, Murder, or Manslaughter) * Relationship Breakdown * Depression * Anxiety/Phobias * Addictions * Low Self Esteem * Abuse * Family pressures/concerns * Work- Related Stress *

The main counselling approaches used are Person-Centred, Rational-Emotive-Behavioural and Cognitive.

Rubicon offers:

A face-to-face service at our consulting rooms in Pinner. Counselling is available for individuals, couples or small groups.

Home visits for people who have difficulties with mobility. They can be arranged if you live in Harrow, Hillingdon, or other boroughs in North-west London. A full list of areas where home-visits are available can be seen in the section on Face-to-face Counselling.

Telephone counselling is also offered at Rubicon wherever you live in the UK.

Email counselling is not yet available, but is something that Rubicon will be offering in the near-future. Like telephone counselling, this will be a nationwide service.
